Member denounces Sérgio Cabral and Jorge Picciani for washing tips on buying and selling livestock | New Orleans hotels

According to the deputy, Cabral reportedly received from Carioca Engenharia a bribe of one million R $ between 2007 and 2014. This money would have generated overpopulated livestock buying and selling operations. , created by the Picciani family. They were denounced for administrative irregularity.

Cabral has been incarcerated since November 2016 and is serving 198 years and six months. Picciani was arrested a year later at Operation Old Jail.

In addition to the conviction, the MP also requested that the accused's property not be available for a total amount of R $ 13 million. This blocking must be done individually on the bank accounts of the accused and may also make unavailable their movable and immovable property.

The project involved the cleaning of the bribes paid to Sérgio Cabral during the purchase and sale of 160 cattle. According to the promoters, in return for the bribe, Cabral would have benefited from construction contracts for Carioca Engenharia.

In addition to Cabral and Picciani, the deputy also requested the sentencing of José Augusto Ferreira dos Santos, appointed financial operator of Picciani and Agrobilara.
