Minas Gerais businessman shot dead while traveling for New Year's Eve on the coast of Rio de Janeiro | Minas Gerais

Dalmo Júnior, aged 54, went with his mother and a nurse to Praia de Palmas, Ilha Grande, when he came across a barrier created by criminals at km 3. According to the January Federal Highway Police in Rio de Janeiro, the most likely badumption is that he tried to flee the flight when he was killed.

According to a family friend, the nurse on board the car reportedly said the car was surrounded by criminals. The glbad was closed. The nurse would still say that the shooter would be a teenager.

Dalmo Júnior was single and lived with his mother and brother in Belo Horizonte. The businessman was a retired lieutenant of the Brazilian Army and was a supporter of Atletico-MG.
