The Ministry of Health has 20 days to explain to the Federal Ministry of Health (MPF) what prompted the removal of the book "Men Trans: Let's talk about the prevention of badually transmitted infections?" The Federal Prosecutor's Office for Citizens' Rights (PFDC) sent an official letter to Sade's secretary of vigilance, Wanderson Kleber Oliveira. Changes in the department responsible for HIV / AIDS policies triggered the reactions of the entities.
In withdrawing the booklet, the Ministry of Health justified the suspension "due to the need to examine and post the material". The MPF asked for details about what needed to be changed and its motivation. The prosecutor Srgio Gardenghi Suiama, coordinator of the working group on badual and reproductive rights, is responsible for the case.
The content was launched in July 2018 with the collaboration of entities representing transbadual people. The text presented guidelines to prevent infections due to badually transmitted diseases, as well as the rights of this badistance to the population provided by Sistema Único de Sade (SUS).
