The Ministry of Health announced today a report indicating that 1,462 professionals registered in Brazil and enrolled in the second call of the program Mais Médicos did not show up at the chosen places. According to the record, 1,087 professionals presented themselves to municipalities during the defined period, from January 7 to 10.
The next call for proposals of the program is scheduled for the 23rd and 24th, when Brazilians graduating abroad will have the opportunity to select the municipalities awarded by the program website. On January 30 and 31, foreign doctors will be able to access the system and choose locations with open positions.
