More than 100 prisoners flee Pará prison homes in just over 48 hours | Para

CRPP I is also overcrowded with 79% surplus. The capacity is 685, but they are kept 1,225.

The coordinator of the Center for Prison Policy of OAB-PA Antônio Graim Neto says that Paraense prisons have more than 100% capacity. For him, the government does not give priority to the solution of the problem, which aggravates the situation with another factor, the facilitation of the entry of weapons in penitentiaries.
