The Minister of Justice, Sergio Moro, has authorized the use of the Working Group on Prison Intervention (FTIP) in support of Ceará, which has suffered a wave of violent attacks since the beginning of the month.

The working group, which will be part of Ceará for 45 days starting on January 14, will be in charge of custody, supervision and custody of prisoners.
The task of intervention in the United States is the subject of two other Moro ordinances issued on Monday.

The second explains how states can ask the working group to be trained and informed. In the latter case, the authorization is valid for a period of 180 days.
