The driver of a luxury car overthrew four people of the same family in Carlos Caldeira Filho Avenue, in front of the Capelinha terminal, in the southern area of São Paulo, at around 6:43 pm Friday (29) . Between the victims, mother and two children died.
The victims crossed the avenue in the pedestrian strip. According to witnesses, the driver was driving at high speed, trying to brake, but ended up running over his mother and three children
He tried to escape without help to the victims, but was prevented by the popular witness trampling. Aparecida Solange Coelho, 43, Camila Poliana Silva, 9 years old – mother and daughter – died on the spot
Camila's twin brother, Cristiano Ronaldo da Silva, was on the ground, conscious and hurt. The younger brother, João Victor Silva, 1 year old, was thrown into the subway, where the rails of the 5-Lilac line pbad.
Both were rescued and taken to the emergency room of Campo Limpo Hospital
The driver did not show signs of drunkenness and the car was a few meters from the venue from the accident. There were tire marks on the asphalt, which indicated that the vehicle was traveling at high speed
