Last Thursday, Motorola launched the new Moto G mobile phones: the Moto G7 standard model, the Moto G7 Play economy model and the Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7 Power big brothers. The presentation did not bring good news or revelations, several days before the successive leaks delivering almost all the specifications of the new smartphones.
On the hardware side, the peripherals are very similar, but they bring with them small differences in processor, camera, memory and battery. The standard Moto G7, for example, uses a Snapdragom 636 processor, equal to that of the G7 Plus and slightly more powerful than the 632 of the other. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The set of cameras is intermediate between models: two rear cameras, the main one being 12 megapixels and the secondary one (depth) of 5 MP.
The Moto G7 Plus has the same screen as the G7 standard, of 6.24. inch, but even capricious in the camera. The back end has a resolution of 16 MP, with the smallest aperture between all models (f / 1.7, which means better images in less lit environments), accompanied by the secondary 5MP. The front camera is equipped with a 12-megapixel sensor.
The Moto G7 Play records everything: processor, storage memory, 32GB, 2GB of RAM and even the unique rear camera (like the G7 Power). 13 MP and 8MP before to reach a value more into account.
The Moto G7 Power bets on autonomy with a larger battery, 5000mhA. But the turbined version sacrifices the other elements, such as the camera (the back is unique, of 12 MP), the RAM – of 3Gb – and the processor. Another resemblance to the little brother – the Play version – is the rectangular notch on the screen.
All handsets are shipped with the Android version of Google's Pie Android 9.0, with common Motorola features such as gestures. Moto actions, Moto screen notifications and popular shortcuts to open the camera and turn on / off the flashlight by shaking the handset. The manufacturer has decided to keep the digital reader in the logo on the back of the devices.
As far as prices are concerned, the variation is important, from the most basic to the most complete. The Moto G7 game arrives at the suggested price of $ 999.00. The Moto G7 Power model arrives for R $ 1,399.00. For the most expensive versions, the prices are R $ 1,599, in the case of the Moto G7 standard, and R $ 1,899 for the Moto G7 Plus.
