Netflix, which has announced the end of user reviews, is preparing to launch a new subscription plan, which is expected to be the most expensive so far, according to a rumor circulating in Europe. The new option would include access to HDR content, plus everything that is currently available on the Premium plan.
This new option – and more expensive – would be called "Ultra Plan", according to the Italian blog Tutto Android, which posted an image with the description of the service, the price and the comparison with other already existing plans .
In addition to the HDR support that obviously requires compatible hardware, there are no other new features in the Ultra plan.
Italian users who claim to have received the test offer report that the premium subscription may have a bad upgrade – instead of being able to watch Netflix content simultaneously on four screens, premium subscribers will have this capacity reduced to just two screens.
Similarly, the default signature can be downgraded to support only one monitor. Meanwhile, the new Ultra plan will support four monitors.
Prices for Standard and Premium plans will remain unchanged, but decreasing screens may result in higher prices if you want more screens for simultaneous viewing, this will force a change in the selected plan.
According to Italians, the Ultra plan costs € 16.99 in Italy, € 3 more than the Premium package currently available on the platform. In the United States, the new option would cost $ 13.99, which is equivalent to $ 54.44, in direct conversion based on the current value of the dollar.
Does the idea come to Brazil? How would the plans be here? There has not yet been an official announcement of Netflix on the subject.
