Brazil's main name for the World Cup in Russia, Neymar wrote Monday (July 2) another important chapter of his career in the Seleção. With the goal scored in a 2-0 win against Mexico, the striker joined the group of top 10 scorers of the World Cup.

Taking advantage of Willian's low pbad, five minutes from the second half, Neymar made his sixth attempt at the World Cup. With the goal, Neymar overcame Garrincha, Zico and Romario and tied two other historic names in sixth place in the list of goals scored by Roberto Firmino.

The list, considering only the Brazilians, is led by Ronaldo Fenômeno, with 15 goals. The former striker, however, participated in four editions of the tournament, swaying the opposing networks in three of them (1998, 2002 and 2006).
