Cancer is without a doubt one of the most deadly diseases in the world. The variety of tumors that can attack a person leads some people to think that no one is safe. But according to recent findings, obese people seem to suffer more than other population groups.

Obesity already affects more than 300 million people worldwide. According to the American Cancer Association, overweight people under 50 are at greater risk of developing cancer.

Survey Reveals Increased Incidence of Illness in Young People

Lancet Public Health Magazine Reports Six of 12 Obesity-Related Cancers Increase Their Presence in Age Groups younger.

Multiple myeloma, colorectal, uterine, gallbladder, kidney and pancreas cancers are the pathologies that could further harm the health of those aged 25 to 49 years.

Obese young people are the most affected

Study using databases between 1995 and 2014 revealing that pancreatic cancer was increasing by 4.34% incidence among 25-29 year olds. This indicates that young adults are more likely to have cancer and that this is repeated with other types of cancer than colorectal cancer.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has already admitted the existence of a link between obesity and cancer, however, it was not possible to find the correlation between them.
