Smartphones are constantly evolving and each year we see more powerful devices and a lot of interesting features. This market is strongly contested by many manufacturers around the world, but currently the top three are dominated respectively by Samsung, Apple and Huawei.
The P20 Pro, the iPhone X and the Galaxy S9 +, for example, offer what companies have the best, both in software and in hardware. However, some Chinese manufacturers like Huawei, has conquered many consumers. Xiaomi is one of them because its smartphones offer excellent specifications, and best of all, more affordable than its competitors.
However, although there are different models on the market, none of them has 10 GB of RAM. But that could change soon enough. The information indicates that this device will not be launched by any of the companies mentioned above, on the contrary, it will be Oppo. Some rumors have also suggested that Vivo, another Chinese automaker, would be in this "race", but it seems that Oppo will win the competition.
The Oppo R17, which can be announced in the coming months, is expected to be the world's first with such 10GB of RAM. This device, which will be available in other variants, presumably with less RAM and low price, would be the successor of the Oppo R15, released earlier this year with 6 GB of RAM. An image taken during an Oppo event in China confirmed the device name.
To date, there is no information on other aspects of the hardware, such as the processor and internal storage. But given the 10GB of RAM, we can expect Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset and at least 128GB of internal storage.
Whatever it is, Oppo has not confirmed the existence of this device, so we will have to wait to see if the specs will be these because with 10GB of RAM, the R17 would be on top of another high-end brand that stands out in the market, the newly discovered Find X, with a virtually borderless screen, a beautiful design and retractable cameras.
