The list of stars who will serve as presenters at the Oscars continues to lengthen. The Academy announced Monday the presence of Jason Momoa (Aquaman) at the ceremony, as well as Chadwick Boseman and Angela Bbadett (the two performers of "Black Panther").
includes Javier Bardem, Emilia Clarke, Laura Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Stephan James, Keegan-Michael Key, Layne KiKi, James McAvoy, Melissa McCarthy and Sarah Paulson. The Oscar will take place on February 24th.
Boseman, Bbadett and Jackson (who plays Nick Fury in the franchise) join the growing contingent of Marvel actors among the hosts. The Oscar had previously announced that Chris Evans (Captain America), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) would be present at the ceremony.
Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Tina Fey, Allison Janney, Jennifer Lopez, Frances McDormand, Gary Oldman, Amy Poehler, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron and Constance Wu are also confirmed.
The long list of celebrities is partly motivated by the absence of a main guest at the ceremony. It will be the first time in more than 30 years that the Oscar has been without a "main presenter" after the controversy surrounding the hiring and removal of Kevin Hart.
