Palestinians killed by Israeli army fire in protest in Gaza | World

Another day of demonstrations, there were clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli soldiers, who dispersed the crowd with tear gas and live ammunition.

According to Palestinian officials, Ybader Abu Anja, 14, died after being rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds in Khan Yunis town. The other victim was Mohammad al-Khamaida, 24, who was seriously injured in the leg and abdomen by live ammunition and eventually succumbed.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 130 people were injured and taken to hospitals.

Witnesses told Efe that groups of Palestinians burned tires and tried to break the security fence, while others dropped kites and fire-fired balloons at Israel.

The army deployed in the hills, in the Israeli part, used mbad dispersal means such as tear gas launched from drones, in addition to real ammunition.

Known as the Great March of Return, the demonstration claiming the right of Palestinians to return to their places of origin, where Israeli territory is today, was held three months ago in the border of the Gaza Strip with Israel. According to the Associated Press, more than 125 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army since then.

On Friday, the demonstration was also convened against the "peace agreement" being prepared by the US government, whose bargaining delegation remained in the region for a week without meeting with Palestinians who reject the country as mediator.
