Petrobras announced on Wednesday that it would increase Thursday the average price of diesel in its refineries by 2.5%, its first peak since 1 January to 1,999 reais per liter.

The average value of gasoline in refineries was maintained at 1.4337 reais per liter, the lowest level since 1.4259 recorded on October 24, 2017, according to the data from the oil company compiled by Reuters.
Petrobras' price policy follows international indicators such as the value of a barrel of oil and the price in dollars, in search of profitability.
