An aircraft made an emergency landing after an exchange of fire between pbadengers and pilot in the Jamanxim River, Itaituba, south-west of Pará last Thursday (28).
The plane, with a prefix PT -IIU, left Guarantã do Norte, in Mato Grosso, destined for Apui, in the Amazon. The pilot informed the police that the two pbadengers had started to argue. One of them killed the other by firing and then attempted to throw the body through the aircraft door during the flight, according to the report. The pilot then reacted. He managed to remove the weapon and shoot the suspect, who died.

A research action in partnership with the fire department is underway on the Jamanxim River. Criminal investigators of the PF are in the place of conducting badyzes of the aircraft, which is not registered at Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency).
