Using metal detectors, officers found seven cell phones buried in the prison yard, as well as other forbidden objects, such as scissors and disposable syringes. After inspection in the governor's cell, the police and the army discovered currency notes.
It was 70 euros, six thousand Colombian pesos, 36 dollars and 25 yuan, Chinese currency. That's about $ 470, which is almost five times the amount allowed for each inmate, which is a maximum of $ 100.
The governor is in a single cell. He was arrested on November 29 as part of the Boca de Lobo operation, one of the developments of the Rio Lava Jet.
Luiz Fernando Pezão is accused of having participated in a criminal scheme for the collection of bribes that would have begun during the first – Governor Sérgio Cabral.

The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office reports that Luiz Fernando Pezão received approximately R $ 40 million between 2007 and 2015.
