The Mostardas Civil Police, on the north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, investigates the death of a 29-year-old woman found in her car in a locality of the municipality, Tuesday at dawn (3). The victim, Isabel Cristine Lazzarin Gonsalves, worked as an enforcement driver, living in Gravataí, in the metropolitan area, and had not contacted the family since Sunday (1), according to delegate André Roese. The police station investigates the case and does not report initial suspicions.
A case of disappearing Isabel was registered in Gravataí, but the police did not advance in the investigation. This event will be attached to the Mostardas survey.
Isabel was found dead on the floor of the rear seat of the vehicle, a Gol. There was a rope wrapped around his neck and bruises on his face. The body was sent to necropsy, which still has no result, to indicate the cause of death.
Parts of Isabel's vehicle seat were burned, according to the delegate, which shows that there was an attempt to fire the car.
It is not yet clear if Isabel was killed during a race, says the delegate. The information collected by police indicates that she was called Sunday before disappearing to take pbadengers to Montenegro.
The company for which the victim rendered service to Uber informed G1 that the last run recorded on the application by Isabel had taken place on Saturday morning (31). She had no criminal record.
