Portugal is again voted the world's best tourist destination
The World Travel Awards, or Oscars of tourism, awarded the highest price in Portugal for the second year in a row. Lisbon, as well as other national attractions, broke all records.
For the second year in a row, Portugal is officially the best tourist destination in the world. The World Travel Awards, known as the Oscars of Tourism, have chosen our country for its highest award for the second year in a row.
The awards ceremony for 2018 took place on the night of this Saturday, December 1st. at Pátio da Galé, in Lisbon. It was the first time that the ceremony was held in our country and the choice would be an omen of what was going to happen: Portugal finished with 16 awards, a new historical record.
