* PT will not participate in the task of Bo The Workers Party was born in the struggle of the Brazilian society for the restoration of democracy in 1980. In almost forty years of existence, the PT has always recognized the legitimacy of democratic institutions and acted within the framework of the rule of law; combine this action with our presence in the streets and social movements, deepening the participation of society in democracy.
We participate in presidential elections on the badumption that the results of the polls must be respected, as we have always done since 1989, whether we win or not. We maintain our historical attachment to the popular vote, but that does not prevent us from denying that the regularity of the 2018 electoral process was characterized by the coup d'etat, the illegal ban of the candidacy of the election. former president Lula and the criminal manipulation of social networks is against the candidate Fernando Haddad.
Respect for the Constitution also imposes the obligation to denounce and protest the threats of the future government to completely destroy the democratic order and the rule of law in Brazil. Similarly, we denounce the deepening of current and ultra-liberal policies of the current government, the dismantling of social policies and the announced revocation of historical labor rights.
The result of the vote is a fait accompli, but in no way signifies an authoritarian, antipopular and unpatriotic government, characterized by open racist and misogynist positions, which would be linked to a backlash of civilization. The hatred of the elected president against the PT, the popular movements and the former President Lula is the expression of a project that, by stealing institutions, intends to impose a police state and annihilate historical achievements of the Brazilian people.
We do not agree with the speeches and actions that stimulate hatred, intolerance and discrimination. And we do not accept that such practices are naturalized as an instrument of political conflict. For all these reasons, the PT Banks will not be present at the inauguration ceremony of the new President at the National Congress.
We will continue to fight in Parliament and in all spaces, to perfect the democratic system and to resist sectors that use the state apparatus to criminalize political opponents.
We were built to resist the military dictatorship. We therefore reaffirm our commitment. the fight for the defense of social rights, national sovereignty and democratic freedoms.

* THE PSOL WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE POSSESSION OF JAIR BOLSONARO *
As usual, the Superior Court invited the PSOL to the House of Deputies Election for the inauguration of Jair Bolsonaro, on January 1 in Brasilia. Possession is a formal act of electoral justice, but it is also a moment of celebration. But for PSOL, there is nothing to celebrate.
The government that will start the first day is based on hatred, prejudice, intolerance and violence. Bolsonaro and his ministers do not respect human rights, national sovereignty, democracy and social rights. They defend the criminalization of social movements and the restriction of free political organization; to idolize the authoritarian and criminal character of the civil-military dictatorship; they defend the delivery of national wealth and heritage to the United States; ignore the rights of minorities; attacks on freedom of the press and freedom of education. Bolsonaro represents the delay in all directions. So, there is no reason to celebrate.
In addition, it is always good to remember that Bolsonaro is pursuing the action in electoral justice that requests the cbadation of his plate. The electoral crimes against which they are accused – among which the use of corporate resources to spread mbadive lies via social networks – must be the subject of an investigation. His victory, besides resting on the fear and disenchantment of the Brazilian political system, is also due to the fraud promoted by the lies uttered against his opponents.
For these reasons, the PSOL will not attend the inauguration of Jair Bolsonaro. From the first day of the government, we will defend democracy, the rights of the Brazilian people and national sovereignty against those who want to bring Brazil back to 1964. We will resist from the first day of the Bolsonaro government, in the street and in Parliament, in defense of the Brazilian people.
