The title of series D
The Ferroviário-CE has taken a big step forward in what could be its first achievement at the national level. On Monday (30), playing in the Arena de Castelão, Ferrão won the Treze-PB from 3 to 0 and took the lead in the decision of the D series of the Brazilian championship.
The result places the Ceará team very close to the title, since the Paraibians now have to win by four goals difference to win the title in normal times. The Thirteen-PB victory by three goals of difference makes the decision for the penalties. The grand champion of the fourth division of the Brazilian championship will be known next Saturday (4) at 18:30 in Amigão, Campina Grande (PB).
THE GAME
The teams staged the first end of the D 100% Northeast series. Playing at home, the railroad is set up. Just after seven minutes of the first half, Edson Cariús shot in a cross, but goalkeeper Mauro Iguatu scored and saved Treze-PB.
