The results were finally revealed and Resident Evil 2 Remake was considered the best game of E3 2018, a feat that Capcom is certainly proud of.
The winners list, from a vote in which 51 sites participated, magazines and other media, also highlighted Dreams as the best original game and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the best fighting game – in an event where there were titles such as Soulcalibur 6, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Jump Force.
Bioware's Anthem was presented with two awards, made even by Spider-Man, the last of us: Part 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.
