Samsung enters the wave of ASMR videos with a mobile phone headset | Cellphone

The videos containing these sounds were a hit on the Internet in 2018, dominating YouTube and Instagram. ASMR (sensory response of autonomous meridians) is the phenomenon that causes some people to feel soothing when listening to certain sounds, usually slight noises and whispers. These videos show, for example, people cutting soap, squeezing foam, scraping surfaces, blowing and speaking very softly. It is not by chance that it is badociated with what is clbadically called "mental bad".

According to Samsung, by recording ASMR content with this solution, creators generate spatially advanced sound in terms of direction, live, and realism. A rendering software in artificial intelligence helps to improve the sound quality even without using a professional device. The role of the artificial ears is not clear, but the company said they would contribute to the making of videos, even outside. Quiet environments are usually needed to capture ASMR sounds.

AiMO is the creation of C-Lab, a group within the Korean company that works with experimental technologies that may or may not become products available to consumers. The team plans to exhibit the device in January at the Las Vegas Electronics Show, CES 2019.
