Santos announced Saturday the signing of Venezuelan striker Yeferson Soteldo, from Huachipato, Chile. Santos will pay $ 3.5 million for 50% of the player's rights (almost $ 13 million in Wednesday's price), which has made the last loan to the University of Chile. The contract is valid for four years.

Soteldo is right-handed, short (1.60m) and can play as a center right point or second striker behind the attacker .
The 21-year-old began in Zamora, Venezuela. He was hired by Huachipato in 2017, and then loaned to the University of Chile in 2018, where he scored seven goals in 37 games.
Soteldo is the first reinforcement of the Jorge Sampaoli era in Santos.
