Seap (Secretary of State at the Prison Service) investigates a complaint filed by the blog Tribuna Penitenciária. In the text, the author claims that "by a beautiful Saturday", the prison officials of Casa do Albergado Crispim Ventino in Benfica, in the north of the country, "decided to organize a party watered of buckets of beer and programmed girls. "
According to the complaint, the servants allegedly pbaded food to the inmates of the neighboring prison unit using ropes made of leaves.
The author adds that after discovering the commemoration, the prison directorates transferred the servers to another unit.
In a statement, Seap said the corregedoria "investigates the server's conduct on the false representation of the image conferred on the institution". Also according to the secretariat, an investigation was opened to investigate the case.
The blog, which is linked to Sindaperj (Union of Prison Officers of the State of Rio de Janeiro), issued a statement rejecting Seap statements last night (4). In the text, the server states that it acts in the law and is protected by the freedom of badociation and by the Constitution.
