The action is part of the Entrepreneurial City program, an initiative of the entity, which aims to encourage the growth of the local economy through various initiatives, exploring the potential of the city and micro and small business leaders.

For the development of the MEND will be carried out badyzes, diagnoses and seminars to identify the economic potential of the municipality. According to the Coordinator of Sebrae / SC Foz do Itajaí, Alcides Sgrott Filho, in the program Cidade Empreendedora, there are eleven lines of action and 34 strategic actions, many of which are already underway, such as the Entrepreneurs Room, recently inaugurated and which gives more agility in the demands of opening of the company.
