Who can participate in Sisu?

Sisu is a system that uses the Enem grade to select students who wish to study at public universities in the country. It works like this:

What are these cut notes?

Sisu publishes once a day a partial cut note for each modality and each course. This is a reference to help the student to sign up for an option in which he actually has a chance to succeed.

It is calculated as follows: suppose that there are 30 very competitive openings in the physical education clbad at X. The first day, 60 candidates apply for this option. Among them, those with the top 30 Enem ratings will be approved. That is, the cut score will be the 30th highest. Example: 642 points.

If, on the following day, higher-performing students enroll, this level will increase. Therefore, it is important to be aware of and choose the options where there is a real chance of approval. If the candidate's mark is 450, it will be difficult to select a course with a minimum grade of 642. It is worth looking for another option.

It is good to repeat: the court note is only a reference. Even after the last publication on Friday, other participants can register by the end of the day, which changes the minimum score. Therefore, it is only possible to know if it was actually approved when publishing the results (28/01).

What happens if I only go to the second option?

If the candidate is selected only in the option of the second course, this will be his only opportunity to enroll in Sisu. He will not be able to participate in the waiting list.

What happens if I do not go through one of the options? Do you participate in the waiting list?

If the candidate is not approved, he will have to show his interest in the waiting list. He must choose one of the course options to try again.

Each university will make available a certain number of places according to the places not occupied during the first call.

Why does my Enem grade differ in each university?

Universities attach weight to the rating of each Enem test. It is not enough to sum the performance in each component (natural sciences + humanities + languages ​​+ mathematics + writing) and divide by 5.

For example: a medical school X faculty can calculate an average in which the discipline of the science of nature is more important than that of languages.

What does "great competition" mean?

How to participate in quotas?

Even if I enroll in Sisu, can I participate in Prouni?

The registered candidate at Sisu can also apply for the program of the University for all (Prouni) if it meets the criteria of the program. If you succeed both, you must choose only one option.
