The bridge that gives access to the Presidente Dutra Highway along the Marginal Tietê Expressway was banned on Wednesday (23). According to the São Paulo City Council, the structure had cracks. There is no forecast for its reopening.
The access handle is on the runway towards the Ayrton Senna motorway. Employees of the Traffic Engineering Company (CET) went to the site to help the drivers.
In addition to traveling to Rio de Janeiro, the Dutra is used by drivers traveling to the Cumbica Airport, Guarulhos, in the São Paulo metropolitan area.

The town hall reported that the bridge was already on the list of structures that will be examined mainly in the city.
This is the third marginal structure with problems since November 15th. At dawn, a viaduct on the Marginal Pinheiros Expressway, 500 meters from the Jaguaré Bridge, was about two meters high. At the time of the break, a driver had slight scratches and five cars had been damaged. Even today, the expressway is blocked in the area.
The restoration works are expected to last four more months and cost 30 million rubles, five times more than the total expenditure incurred by the City to maintain this type of structure since 2014.
