Having a protective cover on your smartphone is very important, after all, they can greatly increase the durability of the device. However, this accessory does not completely protect: the screen is the most affected area in a fall, and can easily crack in some cases.
Reflecting on this, the student Philip Frenzel developed a kind of mobile airbag. Called ADCase, it is activated thanks to several sensors that indicate when the device falls, ejecting a set of springs that in turn release four "feet" reducing the impact on the ground, avoiding any damage to the smartphone.

In addition, the accessory has an additional battery, which can charge the device using cables or by induction. The student says that the idea came after letting his iPhone fall from his pocket. The novelty, already patented by Philip, should soon be released on Kickstarter. The accessory must be compatible with the iPhone 6 or higher.
