The Municipal Epidemiological Surveillance dismissed the suspicion of bacterial meningitis as the cause of the death of 29-year-old Aline Silva Ribeiro in Sorriso, 420 km from Cuiabá. The information was published Thursday (13).

The young woman died Sunday (9) while she was hospitalized at the Sorriso Regional Hospital. She was a human resources badistant in an accounting office.

The patient began to feel sick Sunday and was taken to the UPA and then to the regional hospital where she was hospitalized for about an hour and died.

A clinical diagnosis has allowed hospital clinicians to suspect bacterial meningitis.

To avoid having a death check service, no material was collected from the adolescent for badysis and the case has now been determined by the municipality.

The surveillance team conducts this investigation in all cases where it is suspected that the cause of death is due to a contagious disease. The cause of Aline 's death is not yet known.

The patient treated a dental infection, a root cbad treatment and was already using antibiotics.

The girl had a bad time at home and for the first time looked for the UPA, already with low blood pressure, very low pressure, mental confusion and agitation.

She was then referred to the regional hospital. As soon as she was hospitalized, she suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest and died. The young woman has left a girl of only 8 years old.
