Tesla has reached its goal of producing 1,000 model 3 cars a day, Electrek's automotive information website said Friday, citing the email sent by general manager Elon Musk to employees.

The car was introduced to the public in early 2016 with repeated promises throughout 2017 that Tesla was "on track" to drive 5,000 Model 3s a week. here the end of the year.
Although the automaker is achieving its goal for the sedan, the company has yet to demonstrate that it can maintain that level.
The company invoked the bottlenecks of production to explain its difficulties in achieving its goals. Tesla, who made a profit in the third quarter, promised to repeat the dose in the current quarter.
