Tesla has reached its goal of producing 1,000 model 3 cars a day, Electrek's automotive information website said Friday, citing the email sent by general manager Elon Musk to employees.

The car was introduced to the public in early 2016 with repeated promises throughout 2017 that Tesla was "on track" to drive 5,000 Model 3s a week. here the end of the year.
