Actor and comedian Gilberto Marmorosch died at the age of 74 on Tuesday (29 years old) in Rio de Janeiro.
"I announce to friends and acquaintances that my father has unfortunately pbaded away today. The burial will take place tomorrow at the Caju Israeli cemetery at 1 pm," he wrote.
Marmorosch had been battling cancer since last year. He was hospitalized in December 2018 with complications but did not resist and died Tuesday.
Of Jewish origin, Gilberto Marmorosch began as a professional actor in 1971, when he premiered the play "A violinist on the roof". He has worked in film, theater and television, totaling almost 50 years of his career
