As an option, the Frontier S does not carry items such as aluminum rims, roof bars, door handles and mirror caps painted in body color, headlamps with projectors and multimedia center. Even so, the version leaves the factory with stability and traction controls, air conditioning (with rear seat outlets), a steering column with height adjustment, a descent control (HDC), a power steering , power windows doors and badistant on the ramps.
The 2.3 diesel engine only has a turbocharger in this configuration, with a power of 160 hp and a maximum torque of 41 kgfm. The gearbox is manual six-speed and the traction is 4×4. The load capacity is 1,005 kg and, unlike the competition, the Frontier S is equipped with a multi-link rear suspension with coil springs and a rigid axle with stabilizer bar.
