Last Friday (28), Caixa Econômica Federal issued a financial appeal in the amount of R $ 31.3 million, so that the Municipality of Porto Alegre, through the Department of municipal housing (Demhab), contracts the construction of three real estate projects for the installation of families who opted for the social rent during the first stage of the works of Avenida Tronco, located in the southern area of the city.
Thanks to this investment, according to the city council, 356 apartments will be built in three different condominium buildings: Jacuí, Banco da Província and Dona Zaida. Units must be delivered to residents within 18 to 24 months.
Demhab's executive director, Mario Marchesan, emphasizes that the projects "are all approved and published" and that families will be resettled "with dignity".
Work on Avenida Tronco started in 2012 and was paralyzed in 2016. During this period, new homes were promised to those people who, before their construction, would benefit from a rental lease .
On February 20, 2018, a $ 120 million financing agreement was signed with Banrisul to allow the resumption of work that should have been completed during the 2014 World Cup period.
Resumption June In 2018, it is expected that the duplication of Avenida Tronco will take place in 2020.
Consórcio Pelotense, Toniolo Busnello and Brasília Guaíba, are the consortium responsible for the works.
For the completion of the work, it was necessary to move families with residences on the route of the avenue. Two options have been proposed to the population, the social rent or the housing bonus. Families who have chosen the social rental are waiting to build the units.
People who have opted for the bonus must receive compensation for the purchase of a residence in a new location. A total of 195 families were registered at the reception. The first new acts, according to the town hall, were signed early December.
To the extent that the documents of the real estate sellers are received and approved by Caixa Econômica Federal, the amounts must be transmitted directly to the owners.
