Last Wednesday, at a meeting with the Aluminum consortium of Maranhão (Alumar), the company introduced the expansion of its plant in the state, with an investment of 1.7 billion US dollars .

At the meeting, business leaders presented the expansion project in Maranhão which, until 2021, will create 1,500 new jobs during this period. "The expansion of the Alumar de São Luís plant represents not only the opening of new jobs, but also the expansion of the Alumar de São Luís plant," said the Secretary of Seinc, Simplício Araújo, at the meeting.
