The number of victims of the explosion of a pipeline illegally drilled in Mexico has risen to 114, including five new casualties since Friday, the Health Department said Saturday.
"Of the 114 deaths, 46 were hospitalized for the burns they sustained," said the agency in a statement.
Friday, the official number has exceeded 100. The following hours, this number has increased again and it is feared that this continues to increase.

At least 33 people remain hospitalized and 23 of them are in Mexico City; four in the State of Mexico; three at Hidalgo; and three others, in Galveston, Texas, USA, for the severity of their burns.
Near the site of the explosion, villagers published photographs of people missing after the epidemic.
On the 18th, thieves broke through a fuel line to steal gasoline. A group of about 800 people from the municipality of Tlahuelilpan went to the site to collect, very rudimentary, the fuel that was flowing. The army could not contain the group. About two hours later, the explosion hit the group.
Under investigation, this incident occurred at a time when the government was advocating a national strategy to stop fuel theft, which has resulted in a shortage in some parts of the country.
