The digital CNH begins to be offered by Detran in Bahia

The electronic version of the national driver's license (CNH) is available since Tuesday, February 3. According to the State Traffic Department (Detran), CNH Digital can be used by drivers who have the wallet printed in the current format – with the QR code – or the digital certificate.

Who are not included in this group can apply for the digital CNH, upon payment of R $ 67.10. Pilots with the digital certificate are exempt from payment. Another option is to wait for the renewal of the printed CNH to have free access to the electronic version.

Interested parties who still have the CNH printed in the old format and wish to acquire the digital CNH should ask Detran to issue the duplicate or renew the document.

To access CNH-e, the pilot must register on the National Traffic Department Portal which will send a link to activate the service and create a pbadword by e-mail. email. Then he should download the CNH-e application on the phone, available on iOS and Android systems. Access to digital activation does not depend on the Internet signal. Another new feature available from this Tuesday is the ability to remove the vehicle document 48 hours after the payment of the license. The withdrawal can be done at no cost, at Detran's head office. Those who do not opt ​​for the modality can wait up to 15 days for the free delivery of the license by the post office.
