A fire hit the building of the Legislative Assembly of Bahia (AL-BA) around 3 pm this afternoon Saturday afternoon in Salvador. The fire started in the financial sector.
The outbreak of the flames was on the third floor, which was closed during construction. The situation was verified around 5:30 pm, but at approximately 7:40 pm, the fire department worked on following the building. On the website, AL-BA officials told TV Bahia's report that they had heard an explosion before the start of the fire.

For this reason, a black smoke has invaded much of the site and was seen from afar, in the area of Avenida Luís Viana (Paralela) . The site was isolated and three fire trucks worked to contain the flames.
The fire will be examined by the 11th Territorial Police Station. According to the Bahia Public Affairs Secretariat (SSP-BA), the site's expertise has been requested and will be made by the Technical Police Department (DPT).
Founded in 1974, the Legislative Assembly is located in the Administrative Center of Bahia (CAB), which brings together all the organs of state management. The institution has 63 state deputies, and it is chaired by Angelo Coronel (PSD) since 2017.
