According to an internal source linked to the highest echelon of the company, Lee began to question Samsung's camera performance during a visit to Europe last year when he discovered that several employees and distributors of the company were using the iPhone because of the better quality of the Apple models camera.
Since then, the giant strives to improve the quality of its camera phones, which has always been considered one of the biggest weaknesses of the company, which even led to a change in the color representation policy on photos taken with Samsung smartphones. Because of this new "policy", the Galaxy S10 will be the first device of the brand to favor a more realistic interpretation of the colors present in the photo instead of enhancing it more vividly.
If the rumors are accurate, the Galaxy S10 will use a number of different 12MP lenses, exactly as it has been before. Galaxy S9, but for the first time, the company will introduce software that should improve the quality of captured images in high and low light environments. In addition, the company should also use a 16 megapixel secondary sensor that includes a wide-angle lens – something unprecedented in the brand's high-end smartphones. Another expected novelty would be a 13MP telephoto lens on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus models, which will provide 2x optical zoom, as in Galaxy S9 + and Galaxy Note 9.
All of these expectations need to be confirmed or not. February 20, when Samsung will officially introduce the new models of its range of smart phones Galaxy S.
