According to Aneel, the adoption of each flag, in the colors green (no extra charge), yellow and red (levels 1 and 2) are linked to the electricity production costs. In yellow, there is an increase of R $ 1 per 100 kWh (kilowatt hours). In the red on tier 1, the additional lighting bills are R $ 3 per 100 kWh; in No. 2, the additional value is $ 5.
The agency advises the consumer to avoid a significant increase in the number of accounts. Among them, the decrease in the use of air conditioning. But with this heat, it is almost impossible to sleep without air. Then it is related to the advice: "when using the device, avoid leaving the doors and windows open and keep the filter clean".
Aneel also suggests that the consumer for long periods of absence should not leave his appliances on standby. In this case, it is best to remove them from the socket.
