According to the new rapid survey of infestation rates conducted by Aedes aegypti (LIRAa) in 2018, the State of São Paulo has 250 cities on alert or at risk of dengue epidemic, zika and chikungunya. Of these, 208 are on alert and 42 are likely to appear. Alagoas appears in the survey with eleven cities in the interior of the state marked in red, indicating a risk of epidemic. In yellow, cities are asked to remain vigilant.
