BRASÍLIA – Attorney General's Office (
PGR
) claims to have been able to trace the delivery of a one million dollar bribe paid by the Federation of Rio State Pbadenger Transportation Companies (
Fetranspor
) to the governor Luiz Fernando
Pezão
(MDB). According to the investigation, which had access to the accused's phone records, Hoya Corretora proceeded to correct the sums of money in favor of a trusted adviser to the governor, arrested Thursday as part of the operation of the PF.
The path of money was traced through a body of evidence obtained by the researchers. The owner of Hoya Corretora, Álvaro Novis, entered into an award contract and handed the recordings of conversations between his employees and the businessman who had received the money. The transfer was part of a total amount of R $ 11 million which, according to the investigation, would have been paid to the governor by Fetranspor in exchange for benefits in the state machine.
