A prosecution after stealing a cell phone in Nilópolis, Baixada Fluminense, Friday morning, caused an accident with four deaths, according to RJTV 2 of TV Globo. Two cars, a bus and two bicycles were involved in the accident, which also caused three injuries.

The persecution began after two motorcycle thieves stole a mobile phone from Valerio da Costa, 56, who had gone to work on the Rua Antônio Félix, in the Manoel Reis neighborhood. The victim then filed a lawsuit against the criminals, who eventually hit their bikes. Valerio's vehicle was overturned and he could not withstand the injuries. The duo who committed the robbery is also dead. Valerio's wife was injured and taken to the hospital.

At the time, Vitória Rodrigues, 19, who left the motorcycle academy, was also hit and sent back about 15 meters. She was saved but died before being admitted to the hospital.

"She gave the last breath almost to arrive at the hospital, I felt that when I held her in my arms, she exhaled and did not come back, I was desperate," said Jonas Rodrigues, father of Victoria, at G1.
