The rain that reached part of Rio Grande do Sul on the night of Monday (11) caused uprisings. In Porto Alegre, a structure of works collapsed, traffic lights stopped functioning and electricity was missing, also in other cities of Rio Grande do Sul.
The rain started shortly before 7 pm in the capital. About two hours later, nine traffic lights were not working and there were at least eight traffic flood points, according to the Public Transport and Traffic Corporation (EPTC).

At about 8 pm, the fall of part of the metal structure of a structure blocked traffic on Júlio de Castilhos Avenue, in the center, again according to the TCPS. The fall tipped a street lamp. The property is next to the Universal Church, near the bus station. The road was clear a few minutes later. Nobody was hurt.
