Located in London in the 1930s, the story of the new film will show that Michael Banks ( Ben Whishaw ) and Jane Banks ( Emily Mortimer ) grew up and that Michael lives with his three children and his governess ( Julie Walters ). After a great personal loss, the enigmatic Mary Poppins ( Emily Blunt ) returns to the life of the Banks family and, along with the City's chief of lights, Jack ( Lin-Manuel Miranda ), uses her magical skills to help the family recover the lost joy of their lives.
The beginning in Brazil is scheduled for December 20th.
