Snake hunters in Australia rescued a python-coated snake and covered with hundreds of ticks.
The professional who removed him took the snake to a wildlife treatment center.
Ticks are arthropods that attach to hosts – humans or animals – to feed on their blood.
Veterinarians have removed more than 500 ticks, according to BBC snake hunter Tony Harrison. Often, they transmit diseases.
