On Thursday afternoon, we had another meeting of the Catarinense Climate Forum, a monthly meeting in which meteorologists from all regions of our state met to develop climate forecasts for the next three months.
According to meteorologists, we are still in a period called neutrality, but we will most likely have an El Niño throughout the summer, due to the warming waters of the equatorial Pacific. If confirmed, El Niño will be of mild to moderate intensity.
The main characteristics of this phenomenon in summer, here in Santa Catarina, are the rise of temperatures and the regularity of precipitations.

TEMPERATURES
