The teacher drags an autistic student and is fired; see the video

A teacher was fired after being caught by the security cameras of a school, dragging a 9 year old autistic student in the aisles. The case has occurred in the state of Kentucky, located in the United States of America.

In an interview with CNN, Angel Nelson, the boy's mother, reported that the son had been dragged after being badaulted. According to Angel, the teacher stated that she had acted in this way to prevent the child from being hurt during the crisis.

This Sunday (6), the mother posted a video and a text on Facebook to denounce the aggression perpetrated in October of last year. The resignation of the teacher was announced only on Monday (7), after the repercussion of the case.

At CNN, the mother stated that the boy had told her that the teacher had thrown her hard from the chair and dragged her into the aisles. The doctors found that he was writhing and fracturing the wrist of the child.

In a statement, the institution says that an investigation was opened against the teacher.

In her message, the mother asked that educational professionals be better prepared to go to children with autism.

"My son deserves justice … All schools should train teachers more in the care of children with disabilities and learn the appropriate protocol to contain and redirect [as ações] as appropriate". More laws should be in place. for [proteger] any child, like my son who was badaulted by adults we trust, takes care of them, but the fact that my son can not fully verbalize everything he has experienced means that we have to fight a lot more for all those who can not speak for themselves, "Angel wrote on Facebook.
