A video recorded by a security camera shows the moment when the cart that caused the death of six people in Bahia chases and hits one of the cars involved in the accident.
The case occurred Thursday in an urban part of BR-242, in the town of Seabra, in Chapada Diamantina (3). The car that appears in the photos was parked and was the last to be hit by the car. Before, the vehicle hit a micro-bus and another car.
In the video, it is possible to observe the severity of the accident. In less than five seconds, the cart appears on the images. The husband of one of the deceased, Renaldo de Souza Lima, said that he had stopped traveling after having a bad feeling.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), many of the pbadengers in the group were without a safety belt which could have aggravated the situation of the victims, many of whom had been ejected from the vehicle.
"A situation which is becoming more and more tragic [o acidente] and which aggravates the situation even further, is that many did not have a seatbelt.In the service of the site, several people were ejected from the vehicle. Besides the dead, the accident caused 26 injuries, including the truck driver. According to the Bahia Health Secretariat (Sesab), ten of them were released on Friday (4). Ten more are hospitalized at Chapada Diamantina Regional Hospital in Seabra. Five were transferred to Salvador (three to the General State Hospital (HGE) and two to Subúrbio hospital) and one to Clériston Andrade General Hospital, in Feira de Santana.
