Companies anticipate employee exit and new peak hours
The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) recorded a record traffic in the city of São Paulo an hour before Brazil's match against Serbia on Wednesday afternoon (27).
According to the agency, the municipality reached 203 km of slowness at 14h, the index being at least five times higher than the average of the period.
The first rush hours occurred because many companies fired the employees early so that they could watch the game.
However, because of the traffic, some fans followed the start of the game on their way home.
